Our Story Begins Here

Founded in 2018, Skye Vista Development Sdn. Bhd. has emerged as a leading property developer committed to shaping the landscape of urban and suburban living. With a vision rooted in innovation, sustainability, and excellence, we have successfully delivered a diverse portfolio ranging from affordable high-rise residential developments to premium landed residential projects.

Building on the success of our sister companies’ projects—Greenfield Residence and Meridian Garden—our management team plans to develop two new projects in Penampang: Grand Meridian and Meridian Place. Each project is a testament to our dedication to creating spaces that enhance the quality of life for our residents and contribute positively to the surrounding community.

Mr. Pong Vui Seng

Managing Director

Pong Vui Seng is an accomplished civil and structural engineering professional with over 15 years of experience in the construction and real estate industry. He is currently the Managing Director of Skye Vista Development Sdn. Bhd. and holds a directorship in a prominent Class A, G7 construction company.

Pong’s academic journey began at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2004, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 2007. His early career was shaped by his involvement in Singapore’s dynamic engineering sector, where he contributed to a diverse range of projects. These included Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) systems, high-rise residential complexes, institutional buildings, industrial facilities, and mixed-use developments.

In 2008, Pong returned to his homeland in Sabah to embark on his entrepreneurial journey as a property developer. Over the past 15 years, he has successfully completed a variety of projects, including medium- to high-rise condominiums, prestige landed housing developments, and boutique hotels, earning a reputation for his meticulous approach and commitment to quality.

Known for his dedication to excellence, integrity, and hands-on project management, Mr. Pong’s leadership continues to steer Skye Vista Development towards becoming a trusted name in delivering developments that not only meet but exceed the expectations of the communities they serve. Under his direction, the company has firmly positioned itself as a leader in the property development sector, enriching communities and raising the standards of the built environment.

Mr. Alex Chan

Finance Director

Alex Chan is a dynamic finance and property development professional with over 15 years of experience across finance, technology, and real estate. As the Finance Director of Skye Vista Development Sdn. Bhd., he plays a pivotal role in financial planning, project coordination, and strategic decision-making.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore in 2005. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK, and achieved the ACCA qualification in 2009. He was previously a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), reflecting his deep expertise in financial and investment management.

His early career in Singapore’s financial sector included key roles as a Product Controller and Equities Trader, where he gained extensive experience in trading operations and risk analysis. Upon returning to Sabah, he served as Finance Manager for a major plantation, where he implemented robust IT and accounting systems to support operations.

Alex ventured into property development with the successful completion of Meridian Garden, a high-end residential project in Kota Kinabalu’s CBD. He is currently overseeing Meridian Place, a premium landed housing development in Penampang, and managing the financial operations of a luxury condominium project. His scope includes contractor management, project financing, and sales strategy.

With a hands-on approach and a focus on excellence, Alex continues to drive the financial strength and growth of Skye Vista Development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, community-enriching developments.

Ar. Pong Vui Thien is a dedicated and visionary Registered Professional Architect with 22 years of leadership in architecture, construction, and strategic project delivery. He is passionate about innovative design and committed to excellence, with a strong track record and eager to contribute to Sabah’s development with hands-on local expertise. He has involved in projects of various scale, from boutique urban gem to soaring high-rise landmarks that command attention, his portfolio showcase an extraordinary range. Each project reflects meticulous craftsmanship, innovative solutions and deep respect for environmental harmony.

He becomes Co-Founder and Director of Skye Vista Development Sdn Bhd in 2018 and aim to leverage architecture as a catalyst for progress—bridging aesthetics, functionality, and community impact—while nurturing Sabah’s unique identity through thoughtful development.
